Calculator data stays on your device
Workplace Calcs calculators run in your browser. Time entries, wage rates, break details and calculation results are not sent to a calculation server. The Time Card Calculator uses first-party local browser storage to restore the current card after a refresh. This storage is not encrypted and may be visible to another person using the same browser profile. You can erase it with the “Clear saved data” control or by clearing site data in your browser.
Data processed when you contact us
If you email us, we process your email address, message and any information you choose to include so we can answer and manage the request. The legal basis is taking steps at your request or our legitimate interest in responding to site inquiries, depending on the message. Do not email sensitive payroll records or unnecessary personal data.
We retain correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request and meet applicable legal obligations. The business email and hosting providers may process this information on our behalf under their applicable data-processing terms.
Technical hosting logs
Hostinger automatically records ordinary access and security data such as IP address, request time, requested resource, request method, response time, device information, country and error details. Calculator field values remain in the browser and are not placed in request URLs. Log retention is controlled by Hostinger and the active hosting plan; it may change, so this notice does not promise a fixed retention period.
Cookies, advertising and analytics
The launch build contains no analytics, advertising, account, payment or external calculation scripts and does not activate Google AdSense. It uses only the first-party local storage needed for the user-requested save feature. If advertising or analytics is enabled later, this policy and the consent mechanism will be updated before activation. Calculator field values must never be included in ad requests, analytics events, URLs or page metadata.
Recipients and international processing
We do not sell calculator or contact data. Hosting and email service providers may receive the limited technical or correspondence data needed to provide their services. Any international processing must follow the safeguards in the provider agreement and applicable data-protection law.
Your data-protection rights
Where the GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis. Email hello@workplacecalcs.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
Changes to this policy
We will revise this notice when data practices change and will update the date shown above.
